Principal Software Engineer - Platform Services Engineering
The successful candidate will join an engineering team designing, developing and supporting an enterprise class software product globally deployed at hundreds of fortune 1000 corporations. The candidate will have successfully led and managed small to medium sized engineering teams throughout the entire software life cycle
Qualifications: • Strong technical skills covering the design and implementation of cross platform distributed systems. • Specific technologies to include threading, security standards and protocols, relational databases, LDAP, C++, Java and in general broad experience and understanding of writing high performance software. • Strong leadership and communication skills are a requirement. • The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English (writing of functional and design specifications) and also a strong advocate for rigorous end-to-end software engineering process. • Demonstrated experience with multiple UNIX operating systems.
Education and Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Computer Science • Minimum of 8 – 10 years designing and developing system level software
