Jan. 5th, 2015 03:25 pmбританские учёные обнаружили, что если пропускать электричество через графен, приготовленный специальным образом, то можно фильтровать водород из воздуха (водород проходит через мембрану, остальные атомы и молекулы - нет). получаемый же водород можно зарядить в fuel cells, которые будут вырабатывать электричество, которое можно пропускать через графен, чтобы получить ещё больше водорода.

Marcelo Lozada-Hidalgo, a PhD student and corresponding author of this paper, said: "When you know how it should work, it is a very simple setup. You put a hydrogen-containing gas on one side, apply small electric current and collect pure hydrogen on the other side. This hydrogen can then be burned in a fuel cell."
