комменты тоже рулят: That isn't Replicator code... it's the shutdown code... they obviously used JavaScript to write a Replicate() function that calls itself recursively, causing the stack overflow that made the Replicators fall apart and "crash" to the ground. As it turns out, had Stargate Command just hired a mediocre web developer instead of super-genius Carter, they would have defeated the Replicators by accident when they first found them.
